Excellent experience with an unplanned replacement of a an old crown that fell out due to decay of the underlying tooth. Dr. Nguyen saw me the next day, his dental tech measured and designed the new crown, machined it on the spot and I was out of the office with the new crown in under two hours. Love their technology and service!
I have been coming to this dentist office since the early 2000’s. (2002?) Admittedly, the dentist has changed twice since then (the practice has been sold twice), but my hygienist has remained the same and I have liked the dentists. The current dentist, Dr. Viet Nguyen DDS is very cheery. My hygienist feels like an old friend and I always enjoy chatting with her (as much as is possible while being cleaned!)
The practice is very clean and modern. They have TVs on the ceiling to entertain you during treatments. The staff are polite. You are given a bag of complimentary dental items when you leave (Toothbrush, floss, etc.) They text you to remind you of appointments.
The office is conveniently located near the Poway Pomerado hospital and has free parking immediately outside.
I haven’t been to dentist in around 7 years. Jennifer was really sweet and made feel like she cared about my priorities. Lori, the hygienist was very gentle and let me know every step of the way. She even stopped when I winced to make sure I was okay. She didn’t make me feel insecure even though I knew I had some catching up to do. Dr. Nguyen was soft handed and informative. He explained everything well and I felt heard. Stasja was very helpful letting me know how my insurance would help and what other options I have. The other staff were very welcoming and I’m sure I’ll meet them later with all of the work I have ahead of me! I have a lot of work ahead of me but I feel at ease. They even offer nitrous but I haven’t decided on that yet.
Amazed not to see any thing but 5 stars……as a retired business owner with 50 years of experiences with general practitioners, I am impressed with the whole team. Great tech/equipment, competent experienced team, and very fair pricing for the value. I started with the doc when he took over and have had very very good care since. I would assume that anything less then a 4 or 5 star rating has to do with the patients lack of experience with contemporary dental clinics.
I want to thank Dr. Nguyen for his help with my dental issues. I get very nervous at the dentist and he was very patient, offered me breaks, and cared greatly about my comfort. Dr. Nguyen used the CEREC system to fabricate my crown and delivered it on the same day. Other dentists I’ve been to usually take a goopy impression and take two weeks to deliver a crown so this is a phenomenal service! Thank you to Dr. Nguyen and his staff for extending the highest level of care and customer service.
Great doctor and amazing comfort he provides! I’m in my mid-50’s and for a variety of reasons (old sports injuries, old fillings, etc), most of the dental work I need now is “maintenance” (replace old fillings and/or crowns). These can be extremely painful, but Dr. Nguyen is the first dentist I’ve had to really manage that pain and not have me walking out like a mummy. Also factor in the office has large screen televisions mounted to the ceiling (so that when you are laying back, you can stream the show of your choice!) and you can’t go wrong here.
